    Hard to overlook the occasions where horses have been destroyed after breaking down. Admire Rakti comes to mind.

    Still, the race is a great event that produces some wonderful champions. 3 Stars.

    Sad to think this is a part of Australian culture. It's cruel what they do to the horses, so many horses die because of this race. It's brutal and barbaric. It'd be nice if we stopped racing the horses and did something else...for those so concerned with the """fun""" of it.

    We need to respect humans and animals.The horses are very sensitive and need our respect and their dignity.They need freedom and no whip ..they need love and no stress.Imagine a world where animals and humans live in peace together and there are no races needed so the people feel good.I feel very very sorry for the horses.I wish no horse will get hurt or killed.
